Cassini, a NASA Space craft sniffed oxygen around saturns icy moon dione for the first time, creating the possibility there could be an atmosphere, although the oxygen ions are few and far between.
i thought this was cool because Dione would be another celestial body joining the ranks of planets with atmospheres, like eath, venus reah and possible mars.

does oxogen mean atmosphere? isnt the air we breath only a very small percent oxogen? dou you need breathable air to consiter it an atmosphere? if not that is really cool, there might be more planets with atmospheres than we ever thought!
ReplyDeleteEven if there is oxygen there, would that mean life would be possible? I just never heard of life on a moon, but it would be cool if there was.
